Terms of Use

These terms govern Driftwave’s soundscapes, listening tools and any optional paid features. The provider and contact information appear below. Apple’s applicable usage rules and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also apply to App Store distribution.

Purpose and safe listening

Driftwave is for relaxation and general wellbeing. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent a condition, measure sleep medically, or guarantee improvements in sleep, focus or health. Listen at a comfortable volume, take breaks, and stop if uncomfortable. Do not use it while driving, operating machinery or when you need to remain alert to your surroundings. Binaural mode needs stereo headphones; isochronic mode can use speakers.

Eligibility and use

You must be at least 13. If you are a minor, use requires your parent or guardian’s review and permission, including any locally required authorization. We grant a personal, limited, non-exclusive license to use the app. Do not misuse the service, infringe rights, introduce malicious code or bypass purchase verification. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Your data and app content

You retain rights in your own entries. Local data is processed to perform features you request and is not licensed to us for advertising or sale. The app, branding, original software and other content belong to or are licensed by the provider. Nature photography is credited in the app. You are responsible for backing up information you wish to keep; local deletion cannot be undone by us.

Optional subscriptions

If offered, Driftwave Plus unlocks the Plus library soundscapes. The app and Apple show the actual localized price, billing period and included features before purchase. There is no advertised free trial unless explicitly shown in Apple’s purchase sheet.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple’s displayed terms.
• Manage or cancel through Apple Account subscriptions and restore eligible purchases within Driftwave.
• Deleting the app or clearing local data does not cancel a subscription.
• Refund requests are handled through Apple, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.

Any future price or material subscription changes are subject to notice and consent where required by Apple and law.

Availability

The iPhone build bundles the sound generator and library imagery. The website requires an initial connection and does not promise offline availability. Purchase verification and restoration may require internet access. Device interruptions, output changes or operating-system behavior can pause playback. Do not rely on Driftwave as an alarm or safety-critical timer.

Responsibility and consumer rights

We do not exclude obligations, liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable EU, UK and Australian consumer protections. Subject to these rights, the service is provided for personal wellbeing use and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Cyprus law applies while preserving mandatory protections and courts available to consumers in their country of residence.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using Driftwave at any time. We may restrict use where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity or serious misuse. We may update these terms for product, security or legal reasons, giving notice where required.
